TIGER - Riverside Military Academy used 14 second half points to blow open a tie game at halftime en route to a 20-6 win over Rabun County in Region 8-AA action.
Alex O'Donnell was 12-of-20 for 197 yards passing and tossed one touchdown and also added a 1-yard TD run to lead the Eagles (2-1, 2-0 in region) to the win.
Brian Cox had nice game receiving with three catches for 94 yards, including a 64-yard TD catch. Aaron Gambarah had a 2-yard touchdown run for Riverside.
Rabun's score came in the second quarter with 49 seconds left in the second quarter to tie the game at 6-6 heading into halftime.
The win for Riverside sets up a showdown with North Oconee (3-0, 2-0) next week in Gainesville between two unbeaten teams in 8-AA play.
