Volleyball: West Forsyth sweeps North Hall, JHS

CUMMING - The North Hall and Johnson volleyball teams were swept by West Forsyth Thursday in an Area 7-AAA tri-match.

West Forsyth beat North Hall 25-15, 25-22 in the first match and then whipped Johnson 25-7, 25-17 in the second match.

In the third match of the night North Hall knocked off Johnson 25-17, 25-12.

For North Hall, Kathryn Bell had another strong night with 21 assists, six kills, and an eight-point service run with two aces. Evann Rowland had 10 kills, two blocks, and four digs and Anna Marchman had six kills, one block, and three digs for the Lady Trojans.

Lindsey Wright had a five-point service run to go with one ace and two digs for North Hall. Lauren Gregory had five kills, two digs, and one block and Sarah Paschall had three kills, one dig and one block for the Lady Trojans.

For Johnson, Shelley Farley played well with 14 digs and 10 assists in the two matches. Jenna Stone had three killsand six digs and Caitlin Sloan added eight kills for the Lady Knights, who fell 7-10 overall and 3-2 in area play.
