BUFORD - The West Hall volleyball team split a pair of matches against Buford and North Hall Wednesday.
In the first match, the Lady Spartans swept Buford in two games 25-21,25-18 but then fell in a close match to North Hall 25-22,25-23 in the second match.
Julie Walsh led West Hall with 15 assists and Erica Grainger has 13 assists. Tonya Bennett added eight kills and two aces and Nicolette Ashley had six digs for the Lady Spartans.
On Tuesday, West Hall dropped a pair of Area 7-AAA matches to Flowery Branch and Creekview.
West Hall lost to Flowery Branch 25-12, 25-21 in the first match and fell 25-15, 25-14 to Creekview.
Kristen Holmes with had six kills, Erica Grainger had eight assists, and Nicolette Ashley had 10 digs for West Hall on the night.
