STILLWATER, OKLAHOMA - New defensive coordinator Bill Young says he'll be coaching from the field when No. 9 Oklahoma State faces 13th-ranked Georgia on Saturday.
Young says he has tried coaching both from the field and from the press box in his three decades as an assistant coach. While coaching the defensive line, Young says he feels he gets a better perspective on what opposing offensive linemen are doing if he's at field level.
He also likes the fact that he can look his players right in the eye and see if they have a ``glazed-over'' look as he's trying to make corrections.
Young says he ends up watching the football instead of the line if he sits in the press box.
Offensive coordinator Gunter Brewer will sit in the press box on Saturday.
