GAINESVILLE - A three-year transportation plan for 13 northeast Georgia counties will be discussed at two public meetings over the next few weeks.
The first will be at the Helen City Hall August 25 (5:00-7:00 p.m.) and the second on September 8 (5:00-7:00 p.m.) in Jefferson at the Jackson County Courthouse and Government Complex.
State DOT will host the meetings that will focus on federally funded Interstate and State Route improvements in Banks, Dawson, Elbert, Franklin, Habersham, Hart, Jackson, Lumpkin, Rabun, Stephens, Towns, Union and White counties.
The Open House style meeting includes a review of DOT's upcoming federally funded projects. DOT Engineers will be on hand to answer your questions.
