G-Braves sweep Pawtucket on Canizares' line drive

LAWRENCEVILLE -- The Gwinnett Braves defeated the Pawtucket Red Sox 3-2 on Monday afternoon at Gwinnett Stadium. The G-Braves improved to 71-52 on the season, while the PawSox fell to 52-68. Gwinnett won seven of eight games in its most recent homestand.

Gwinnett starter Jo-Jo Reyes held the Red Sox to just two runs in 6 2/3 innings. Reyes was pulled an out shy of finishing seven innings after allowing a two-out triple to PawSox center fielder Josh Reddick. Reddickâ
