At Thursday nights meeting the board, following the recommendation by Superintendent Dr. Paul Shaw, voted to reduce the school work schedule this year by three days for all certified employees and directors and two days for non-certified employees, excluding nurses, bus drivers, and food service employees, with a corresponding reduction in pay schedules. Dr. Shaw said he did not include the bus drivers, nurses and food service employees because they are already on a low end pay scale. <br />
