Morris scheduled for hip replacement

GAINESVILLE - Hall County Public Defender Brad Morris, seriously in a traffic accident in May, continues to recover.

Morris is now at the Northeast Atlanta Health and Rehabilitation Center in Atlanta awaiting hip replacement surgery. Co-workers say he is is good spirits and is in steady contact with his office by phone and e-mail.

The accident occurred May 19 on Ronnie Green Parkway across from City Park and involved Morris' motorized scooter and a pickup at the entrance to Dairy Queen.
