Section of Ga. 365 closed for two hours

LULA - There were no injuries early Monday but southbound lanes of Georgia 365 near Lula were shut down from a couple of hours because of a two-vehicle crash.

The wreck involved a tractor-trailer and a pickup and occurred at Georgia Highway 365 and Georgia Highway 52.

The Hall County Sheriff's Office reports that the 18-wheeler's fuel tanks ruptured causing 20-25 gallons diesel to spill.

The road was not reopened until state Deapartment of Transportation crews could clean things up and the wreckage could be removed. That wasn't done until around 4:30.
