GAINESVILLE - Hall County school officials are well-pleased with the showing of 8th-graders on this year's End-of-Course high school graduation tests (EOCTs).
Dr. Sarah Justus, principal at West Hall Middle School, noted that a majority of those who took the tests exceeded the state passing standards and that was true at each of the six middle schools. The number exceeding the state standards ranged as high as 97 percent at Davis Middle School.
In addition, the percentage of Hall students passing the tests was well-above the state average.
