GAINESVILLE - Recycling your old electronic items keeps them out of landfills... and Hall County hopes that's what you'll do, maybe this weekend.
Keep Hall Beautiful will host an Electronics Recycling Event on Saturday in hopes of keeping poisonous elements from harming the environment.
Computers, telephones, and a wide range of other items will be accepted. Televisions will also be accept but for a $10 charge... and just in time for Friday's switch to digital TV.
Keep Hall Beautiful will be set up at Wal-Mart in Oakwood from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
