HALL COUNTY -- The Friendship Elementary Lady Falcons won the 2009 Hall County 8-year-old girls Softball Tournament Friday.
The Friendship girls took hard-fought win over White Sulphur and Gainesville Wednesday and then on Thursday, Friendship played the Lula Angels in the middle of a rainstorm that would not stop.
Friendship came from behind in the bottom of the last inning to squeak out a victory in a rain-shortened game.
On Friday, Lula won their way out of the lower bracket and into the Championship Game. The game was a tough battle that ended with Friendship on top.
