KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- The Brenau University tennis team received an at-large bid to the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) women's tennis national championships, scheduled for May 12-16 in Mobile, Ala.
The Golden Tigers will hope to dethrone defending national champion Auburn Montgomery (Ala.), which is gunning for its sixth straight national championship and 10th overall.
The championship will be played at the Mobile Tennis Center for the sixth straight season. In all, 24 teams will converge in Mobile to play for the championship, as 16 squads received automatic bids and eight more made the tournament as at-large selections.
