ATLANTA - The Georgia Supreme Court has overturned the guilty verdict in the case of the convicted of seriously injuring Hall County drug agent Mark Thomason by striking the officer with his car during an arrest attempt.
In its seven-page ruling (see link below), the supreme court said the state Court of Appeals erred when it upheld the verdicts handed down against Chanju Dryden.
The incident happened several years ago in the parking lot of the Kangaroo store on Butler Parkway during an undercover drug buy.
