Hits keep on coming: Dogs lose another DE

By staff reports
ATHENS -- University of Georgia junior defensive end Demarcus Dobbs of Savannah suffered a left foot, fifth metatarsal fracture in Thursday's practice that will sideline him for the remainder of the spring.

According to UGA Director of Sports Medicine Ron Courson, a full recovery is expected. Courson said he will be able to train during the summer and should be at full capacity at the start of August pre-season practice.

As a sophomore in 2008, Dobbs played in 13 games including four starts. He recorded 19 tackles, two sacks, two tackles-for-loss, and two interceptions, one for a touchdown.
