Area hoop stars Blanche Alverson, Andraya Carter and Jaymee Carnes were honored by the Atlanta Tip-off Club on Tuesday night at the Naismith Banquet in Atlanta.
Buford's Alverson and Carter, along with Gainesville's Carnes were named to the Club's All-Metro team at the banquet.
The team includes 30 girls.
It was the second honor in a row for Alverson, a senior bound for Auburn, after also representing the north team in the GACA All-Star game at Savannah State over the weekend.
Alverson and Carter, a freshman point guard, helped lead the Lady Wolves to their first-ever state title this past season in Macon.
Carnes, a junior forward, led the Lady Red Elephants to the Region 7-AAA title in 2008-09.
