City Clerk named president of professional association

GAINESVILLE - Gainesville City Clerk Denise Jordan was recently installed as President of the Georgia Municipal Clerks and Finance Officers Association.

GMC/FOA is a professional association comprised of City Clerks and Finance Officers from across the state. The Association was founded in 1956 and has 500+ members representing small and large municipalities. The purpose of GMC/FOA is to promote professionalism by educational programs, networking and mentoring.

Mrs. Jordan has been a member of GMC/FOA since 1992 and served on several committees before being appointed to the Board of Directors.
