CRH Quick Care Clinic now open at Dahlonega Wal-Mart

DAHLONEGA - Chestatee Regional Hospital (CRH) announces that Chestatee Quick Care has opened at the Wal-Mart Supercenter in Dahlonega.<br /> <br /> The clinic, owned and operated by Chestatee Regional Hospital, will have one nurse practitioner on duty at all times to treat minor illness such as sinus infections, colds and flu, strains and sprains, strep throat, earaches and more seven days a week. <br /> <br /> Health screenings and immunizations also will be available. Additional services include suture removal and treatment of abrasions. <br /> <br /> National statistics* collected by Wal-Mart at other such clinics indicate that 10 percent to 15 percent of clinic customers surveyed said they would have used an emergency room had a Wal-Mart-based clinic not been available, while another 5 percent to 10 percent would have gone without treatment entirely, potentially leading to more serious complications down the road. <br /> <br /> Hours of operation are Monday through Friday 9a.m.â
