CLEVELAND - Three White County juveniles are in trouble after they were caught with mail that was allegedly taken from mailboxes in the area.

White County Sheriff Chief Deputy John O'Brien said his office received a call Tuesday about a suspicious vehicle. A lookout was posted and Tuesday night a Cleveland police officer spotted the vehicle and pulled it over. Cleveland

Police Chief John Foster said while officers were questioning the youth they noticed a large quantity of mail in the vehicle.

Foster said the youth were taking Christmas cards from the mailboxes apparently looking for money. Cleveland Police are working to get the mail back to the people who either sent it or whomever was intended to receive it.

O'Brien said the juveniles are believed to have taken mail from up to 50 mail boxes in the city.
