NEW YORK - Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in Alexandria, Va., is the top school in U.S. News & World Report's America's Best High Schools rankings this year.
Twenty-nine Geogia high schools made the list, six of them in northeast Georgia and three of that number in Hall County: East Hall, Gainesville and Johnson. Two others are in Gwinnett - Central Gwinnett and Norcross High - and in Clarke County, Clarke Central.
