ATHENS -- Georgia freshman tailback Washaun Ealey has been named the Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Week, according to a league announcement on Monday.
Ealey, a 5-foot-11, 205-pound native of Stillmore, recorded a career-high 98 yards on 18 carries (5.4 average) and a touchdown to help beat No. 25 Auburn 31-24. His one-yard scoring run in the third quarter capped an 82-yard drive and helped give the Bulldogs their first lead of the game at 17-14.
