BRASELTON - Getting a jump on most other towns in northeast Georgia, the Braselton Christmas tree is already up and sparkling.
A tree lighting was held Saturday night in front of the Braselton Antique Mall.
Most other places won't be holding their tree lightings until around Thanksgiving or in early December.
The tree lighting was followed by a showing the Christmas movie, "Fred Claus," in Braselton Park.
