Vikings take battle of winless teams

RABBITTOWN -- Both the East Hall and West Hall football teams had only one thing on their minds Friday night when they met at East Hall Stadium: one win for the season.

And on a night when both offenses dominated for most of the game, it was the East Hall defense that made the biggest plays of the game as the Vikings snapped their 14-game losing streak in a thrilling 34-28 Region 7B-AAA win over the Spartans.

After the West Hall defense forced a Viking punt late in the fourth, the Spartans took over on their own 14 with the score tied at 28-28 and just under three minutes left. But on the next play, East Hallâ
