'Furlough Friday'

UNDATED - Friday is another unpaid furlough day for county workers in a couple of places in northeast Georgia.

That's the case for Hall and Jackson county employees.

In addition, all branches of the Hall County Library System will be closed as well.

The mandatory furlough days are being used as a means of cutting expenses to help cope with budget shortfalls. They have now been in place in Hall County for one year.
