275+ boat dock applications approved for Lanier lottery

MOBILE, Ala. - More than 275 applications have been approved for the Lake Lanier boat dock lottery later this month.

The special website set up by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers listed 277 approved applications for the 174 available slots early Saturday along with 24 rejected applications.

Tuesday was the deadline for applications. The lottery will be held October 28.
