War Eagles to host first ever Hero Shootout

GAINESVILLE - The Chestatee High School War Eagles basketball teams will host the Hero Shootout later this month.

The Hero Shootout will feature two games the afternoon of Saturday, October 24 at the Chestatee High School gym.

Area rec league coaches and high school/middle school coaches will play at 3:00 p.m., while the Hall County Fire Department and Hall County Sheriff's Department will tip off at 5:00 p.m.

"This is the first Hero Shootout," said Lady War Eagle Assistant Coach Danielle Cleveland. "Our goal is to make this an annual event for our community and our boys and girls teams."

Advance tickets are available at the CHS front office or from any CHS basketball player. Adult tickets are $7.00, and tickets for children 12 and under are $5.00. Tickets also will be available at the door the day of the event, but prices will increase.
