Mobile home destroyed by fire

GAINESVILLE - A fire about 10:00 Thursday night at ST&T Mobile Home Park destroyed one unit there.

Hall County Fire Chief David Kimbrell says the cause of the fire has been linked to a space heater.

"Firefighters arrived quickly and (were) able to make a quick knock down on the fire," Kimbrell said. "No one was injured..."

Kimbrell said the mobile home "appears to be a total loss with damage estimated at $15,000. Initial cause determined by investigators appears to be a space heater and investigators will follow up to confirm that cause."

ST&T Mobile Home Park is located on Browns Bridge Road.
