CUMMING - Fire officials say a January 18 fire at a home on Lanier Drive in Forsyth County was deliberately set.
"Based on interviews and a scene examination, we did reclassify the fire as an arson fire," said Forsyth County Fire Marshal Steve Anderson.
The home, belonging to Pamela Graf, burned while she was in Washington, D.C. for the presidential inauguration. According to earlier reports, Graf had displayed an Obama campaign sign in the yard of the home.
Chief Anderson said that federal agents with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) is assisting with the investigation.
