Winder teens arrested for bomb threat

WINDER - A pair of Winder-Barrow High School students arrested Friday for phoning in a bomb threat to the school.

According to published reports in the Barrow Journal, the 15-year-old female student and the 16-year-old male student were arrested at the school. Both face felony charges in connection with the threat, which apparently was made via cell phone from inside the school on January 13. The school was evacated as a result of the threat.

Both students remain jailed at the Regional Youth Detention Center in Gainesville until a hearing on the charges.
