ATHENS - High demand for tickets to Saturday night's game between Georgia and Alabama have UGA officials warning college football fans to be wary of ticket scalping, scam artists and fake tickets.
UGA Police Chief Jimmy Williamson urges fans to be extra careful about buying or selling tickets. The warning comes after a high number of bogus tickets surfaced at last weekend's Auburn-LSU game.
Williamson said high profile games are likely to attract scam artists.
