MACON - Former Georgia basketball coach Hugh Durham and current Georgia women's coach Andy Landers are among nine new members selected to the Georgia Sports Hall of Fame.
Former NFL star Shannon Sharpe and former NBA star Jeff Malone are also among the nine who will be honored on Feb. 28.
Others selected include Milton A. Byard, Terry Hoage, Mills Lane, George Rose and Roman Turmon.
The nine were selected from 35 nominees.
Durham was a three-time Southeastern Conference coach of the year as Georgia's coach from 1978-95. He led the Bulldogs to their only Final Four appearance. He also coached Florida State to the Final Four.
Landers has been Georgia's women's coach since 1979 and is 789-246 to rank fourth among wins in NCAA history.
