New insurance plans accepted at NGMC walk-in clinics

GAINESVILLE - Northeast Georgia Health System (NGHS) announces that Quick Care in Gainesville and Urgent Care in Buford can now provide in-network care to patients covered by most HMO insurance plans of Aetna, Blue Cross Blue Shield Healthcare Plan of Georgia, Inc., CIGNA Healthcare of Georgia, Inc. and United Healthcare of Georgia, Inc. with any primary care provider.

"We are very pleased to have arrangements in place with these insurance companies which allow us to provide in-network care to more patients within the northeast Georgia area," says Shannon Glover, executive director of Managed Care Operations for NGHS.

Quick Care and Urgent Care are walk-in clinics that provide treatment for minor illnesses and injuries and are open 7 days a week, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Quick Care is located at 597 South Enota Drive in Gainesville, next to Sherwood Plaza. Urgent Care is located at 4889 Golden Parkway, Suite 100 in Buford, next to the Publix Shopping Center on Friendship Road near I-985.

Quick Care and Urgent Care also accept PPO and POS plans of Aetna, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Georgia, Inc., United HealthCare of Georgia, Inc. and CIGNA Healthcare's OAP plans as well as many other commercial insurance plans.
