TOCCOA FALLS - The Board of Directors for the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities (CCCU) has approved Toccoa Falls College for full membership.
According to Dr. Wayne Gardner, President of Toccoa Falls College, "Full membership in the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities is a great achievement for Toccoa Falls College, and is a positive statement about the strong academic standing of Toccoa Falls College."
Other colleges approved for membership are: University of the Southwest (NM), Bluefield College (VA), San Diego Christian College (CA), and the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor (TX). The Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (NC) and William & Catherine Booth College (Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada) were approved as CCCU affiliates.
The Council of Christian Colleges and Universities is a higher education association of 180 intentionally Christ-centered institutions around the world. There are now 110 member campuses in North America and are fully-accredited, comprehensive colleges and universities with curricula rooted in the arts and sciences. In addition, 70 affiliate campuses from 24 countries are part of the CCCU. The Council's mission is to advance the cause of Christ-centered higher education and to help its institutions transform lives by faithfully relating scholarship and biblical truth.
