UNDATED - Dangerously hot weather is forecast for parts of Northeast Georgia today.
The National Weather Service expects highs well into the 90s in many places with triple-digit heat indexes in some areas - as high as 105.
Those triple-digit heat indexes expected to be common in the Gainesville-Buford-Winder areas.
In the Athens/Jefferson/Winder areas the actual temperature is forecast to reach the upper 90s. For Cleveland, Dahlonega and Gainesville and surrounding areas, highs are expected to range from 91-97.
