ATLANTA - Braves shortstop Yunel Escobar was held out of Wednesday's starting lineup against Milwaukee after jamming his left shoulder the previous night.
The Braves were scheduled to be off on Thursday, and manager Bobby Cox said Escobar should be back in the lineup when the team opens a series at Toronto on Friday.

Assignmented to dive back to first base and was tagged out by first baseman Price Fielder on Kelly Johnson's line drive. Escobar threw his helmet and was thrown out of the game by first-base umpire Eric Cooper.
Escobar had missed starting the previous three games because of a strained right hip flexor.
Omar Infante, who was in the lineup at third base as Chipper Jones missed his fifth straight start with a strained right quadriceps, moved to shortstop. Ruben Gotay was to start at third base.
