ATHENS -- Even as the Georgia baseball team continues its quest for a College World Series championship, two Georgia teams already are making plans to be recognized for national championships at the White House.
Georgia's women's gymnastics team and men's tennis teams are among the college national championship teams invited to the White House on Tuesday.
The Gym Dogs won the program's fourth straight NCAA championship, and ninth overall, in April.
The men's tennis team has won two straight NCAA championships, giving the program six overall.
The teams will tour the White House, have a photo made with President Bush and participate in a ceremony on the South Lawn.
