ATLANTA - The Georgia Institute of Technology today announced that athletics director Dan Radakovich Jr. has signed a new five-year employment agreement. The contract, effective July 1, is the outcome of a two-year performance review which was part of Radakovich's previous employment contract.
Under the new terms, the Institute will pay Radakovich an annual salary of $300,000.
In addition, Radakovich will earn supplemental income paid by the Georgia Tech Athletic Association. This compensation includes promotional work including radio, television and speaking engagements. The supplemental income payments will be $260,000 in the first year, and increase by $20,000 annually through the completion of the contract to $340,000 in 2012.
Under the terms of his previous contract, last year Radakovich earned $477,000.
