GAINESVILLE - Five Hall County high schoolers, one Gainesville City high schooler and 12 from Gwinnett County Public Schools have been named Robert C. Byrd Honors Scholars this year.
As such, each earns a $1,500 federal college scholarship.
Those from Hall County and their highs schools are: Stephanie Davies, Chestatee; Aaron Peck, Flowery Branch; Ashley Bohn, Johnson; Dennis Taylor, North Hall; and,Riley Winton, West Hall.
