AMELIA ISLAND, Fla. (AP) Georgia Tech's Paul Johnson is not among the plan's supporters. And he says he doesn't think any of the coaches in the conference want to make the change.
But Georgia Tech Athletics Director Dan Radakovich says the idea needs to be discussed. He says one problem is that scheduling non-conference home games has become difficult and expensive.
One problem for the coaches is that the schedule would require them to play five road games within the conference every other year.
