MURRAYVILLE -- Davis Partrick tossed a five-hitter in leading the North Hall baseball team to a critical 10-1 win over Pickens Friday in Region 7-AAA action.
The win moves the Trojans (15-8, 12-7 in region) one game ahead of White County in the standings for the fourth playoff spot with three games left in the season. White County (13-10, 11-8) fell 6-5 to Gainesville on Friday.
Partrick fanned three and walked three in going the distance. Josh Haymore had two hits and scored two runs and K.J. McAllister hit a two-run homer and finished with three RBI to lead the North Hall offense.
Jackson Coker scored a run, Josh Wright had a single and scored a run and Jeffery Abernathy scored two runs as a courtesy runner for Partrick. Trey Pinson had two hits and two RBI, Blayne Gilmer had a hit and one RBI and Mark Fuller and Graham Duncan each had one RBI for the Trojans.
