DECATUR -- The East Hall boys soccer team gave No. 4 Druid Hills all it could handle Thursday night in the first round of the Class AAA soccer tournament.
Druid Hills scored in the final 10 minutes of the game to pull out a 2-1 win over the Vikings, who won three straight games down the stretch to get into the playoffs.
Victor Camarillo scored East Hall's lone goal in the second half on a free kick to tie the game at 1-1.
But Druid Hills put the game-winner past goalkeeper Ricrdo Llamas late in the contest.
Llamas finished with five saves for the Vikings.
East Hall finished an amazing season at 12-6 with the loss. The Vikings won just two games last season and had won just one game the previous three seasons before their improbable late-season run.
