Police make arrest in Vegas strip club shooting

By The Associated Press
LAS VEGAS -- Police say they've arrested a suspect in the triple shooting at a Las Vegas strip club that led to the suspension of NFL cornerback Adam ``Pacman'' Jones.

Arvin Kenti Edwards was arrested late Friday in Washington. Police say he was already in custody in Yakima County Correctional facility on unrelated charges.

A statement released by Las Vegas police said Edwards faces three counts of attempted murder with a weapon and three counts of battery with substantial bodily harm.

Police say Edwards, 29, of Renton, Wash., is in custody awaiting extradition.
A bouncer was paralyzed in the February 2007 shooting at the Minxx gentlemen's club. Jones pleaded no contest to a disorderly conduct charge.
