NEW YORK -- The NFL schedule is out and it includes Buffalo hosting Miami in Toronto on December 7th.
Meanwhile, the Atlanta Falcons will open the 2008 season at home against Detroit in the Georgia Dome. The Falcons follow that up with a game at Tampa Bay on Sept. 14.
The Falcons make several big road trips this season, including at Green Bay (Oct. 5), at Philadelphia (Oct. 26) and at San Diego (Nov. 30) -- though the Falcons won't be flying outside of U.S. borders, as Miami and Buffalo will do.
The Bills-Miami game in Canada is part of an effort to expand the league's market to Canada.
This marks the first time the Bills will play during the regular season in Toronto, which is about an hour-and-a-half drive from Buffalo.
The season kicks off on Thursday, September 4th with Washington at the Super Bowl champion New York Giants. It's one of four games previously announced for the opening weekend. Chicago will play at Indianapolis on Sunday night September 7th, and there will be two games a night later: Minnesota at Green Bay and Denver at Oakland.
New England, which was upset by the Giants in the Super Bowl, will be working on a record 19-game regular-season winning streak when it opens at home on September 7th against Kansas City. And in what has become an annual highlight game, Tom Brady and the Patriots will take on Peyton Manning and the Colts on Sunday night November 2nd in Indianapolis.
A regular-season game will be played in London's Wembley Stadium a second consecutive year. New Orleans will be the ``home'' team against San Diego on October 26th. The Dolphins and Giants played there last season.
