Tennis: No. 2 Lady Trojans continue to roll (4/1)

UNDATED - The Class AAA second-ranked North Hall girls tennis team continues to roll through Region 7-AAA.

The Lady Trojans easily dispatched Gainesville 5-0 Tuesday dropping just one set overall.

In singles, Cara Reece beat Stephanie Olson 6-0,6-0 at No. 1 while Hayley Crowder beat Kate Callahan 6-0,6-1 at no. 2 singles. Jessica Butts rallied from a set down to beat Alec Boychuk 3-6,6-1,6-0 at the No. 3 spot.

In doubles action, Lauren Bolton and Courtney Wiley beat Lyndsey Mercer and Emily Windhorst 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 while the team of Jessica Butts and Rachel Langman beat Darby Jackson and Elizabeth Hood 6-1, 6-3 at the No. 2 position.

North Hall improved to 15-0 overall and 10-0 in the region.
