Peach State Speedway resets season kick off for Saturday

JEFFERSON -- After a rain out this past Saturday, Peach State Speedway in Jefferson will kick off its 2008 racing season this Saturday, April 5, when the Georgia Asphalt Series for Pro Late Models come to town. <br /> <br /> Thirty GAS Series drivers registered to race this past Saturday. The touring series is in its fifth season of competition. Drivers from throughout the Southeast will compete in a 100 lap feature.<br /> <br /> The event at Peach State will include racing in all the five local classes including the Outlaw Late Models, Super Trucks, Sportsman, Mini Stocks and Bandits.<br /> <br /> Adult grandstand tickets cost $12.
