CLEVELAND - The White County Meth Task Force is considering taking its campaign against drug and alcohol abuse into two more counties.

The group now focuses on children exposed to drug and alcohol abuse in the home in White and Lumpkin counties.

However, the group plans to develop a pilot program which it expects to use in expanding its work into Towns and Union counties.

The task force recently met with representatives from law enforcement, health, judicial and other areas that deal with youngsters affected by drug and alcohol abuse in the home.

It was the first of a series of such meetings that are planned.
