ATLANTA - Gabriel Saade had five hits and Tim Sherlock drove in four runs, allowing Duke to avoid a three-game sweep on Sunday with a 10-3 victory over Georgia Tech.
Saade had three singles, a double and a ninth-inning home run while Sherlock had two hits, including his first homer of the season, a three-run blow in the second inning.
Duke (19-5, 4-5 Atlantic Coast Conference) knocked Tech starter Zach Von Tersch (2-1) out with four runs, three hits and two walks in the first two innings. Tech fell to 17-5, 5-4.
Derek Dietrich and Brad Feltes had two hits each for the Jackets.
Grant Monroe (4-1) gave up three runs on seven hits with three walks and two strikeouts in five innings for the Blue Devils.
