Falcons ink former Georgia TE Rader

FLOWERY BRANCH -- After cutting Alge Crumpler, the Atlanta Falcons have signed former Georgia tight end Jason Rader.

Rader played two games for the Bulldogs in 2000, making two catches for 31 yards. He then transferred to Marshall to finish out his college career.

Rader played in five games for the Miami Dolphins in 2006, making one start. He was signed to the New England practice squad last season, but released by the team on September 30th.

The Falcons cut Crumpler, a four-time Pro Bowler, in a salary cap move last month. He then signed with the Tennessee Titans.
