4 with fake work ID cards arrested

GAINESVILLE - A traffic stop resulted in the arrests of four Gainesville men whom police said had fake work identification cards.

Lt. Scott Ware said they were each in possession of a work identification card which bore a picture of them, but also a false name.

They were arrested on Myrtle Street near Midtown Apartments.

Roberto Gaytan Cruz, aka "Jose Escalera," 45, is charged with 2nd Degree Forgery; Josue Gomez, aka "Matthew Hernandez," 17, is charged with 1st Degree Forgery; Maldanado Sosiz Ibarra, aka "Rodolfo Ayala Jr.," 32, is charged with 2nd Degree Forgery; and Jorge Mario Sosa, aka "Benjamin Bravo," 23, is charged with 2nd Degree Forgery.
