BRASELTON - The mayor and town council of Braselton recently approved the final plat for Liberty Village. Liberty Village will be an attractive "village" oriented retail center, located at the corner of Highway 211 and Liberty Church Road, across from the Golf Club Drive entrance to Chateau Elan. <br />

Developer Scott Snedecor, of Lensned, LLC, has said the concept for the project is that of a village type retail development promoting a people friendly environment, including ample sidewalks, benches and pedestrian lighting. <br />

One of the sites in the village is under contract as a multi-tenant building, with commitments from a dry cleaners, tailor shop and Japanese style steak house. Snedecor said there will be space for a lease adjacent to Ace Hardware and a few other locations. Ace Hardware is projected to open for business this summer and construction on Discovery Point and Regions Bank should begin in the spring.<br />
